Michigan Picks Up 2012 Commits

According to Inside Lacrosse, Michigan has picked up a pair of 2012 recruits (rising seniors). These players will hit campus in the fall of 2012, and play as freshmen for the 2013 season, Michigan’s second as a varsity program. Per IL:

Evan Glaser, A, McDonogh (Md.) has switched his verbal commitment to Michigan from Rutgers. As the Eagles’ QB, Glaser put up 24 goals and 18 assists this season. Great pickup for the Wolverines as they begin their run in D1 in 2012.

Graham Conlan, D, Hill School (Pa.) has committed to Michigan. Playing with Twist Black, Conlan will participate in Crab City Challenge, Brine Shootout and Battle of the Hotbeds this summer. He also considered Colgate, UMBC and Villanova.

As an fyi to Michigan fans who aren’t familiar with lacrosse recruiting, this is about the middle of the process for 2012 recruits to commit. Several schools already have a number of 2013 commits.

I’ll have more on these guys later in the process. In fact: time for readers to vote, so please do so in the comments. Should I do mgoblog-style Hello: posts immediately following players’ public commitments (with later updates, as well), or just wait and cover everybody at once in a roundup post down the road (a Detroit version of same is on its way, I promise)? Let me know.
