The Laxperience: Game 3

After a 1-week break for the July 4th holiday, I was back at it again, for my third lacrosse game last night. My amateur photographer took the night off, so enjoy a repeat photo from a couple weeks ago:

Wearing all red: The anti-Brady Hoke

In the weeklong break, I managed to fit some wall ball in and noticed a (very silght) improvement in my stick skills this time around. It’s still very different making some leisurely passes against a wall than it is with a defender sticking his pole in your face, though.

My statline for this week was a repeat of last time around: 1 goal and 1 assist. The goal came on a play where I was able to catch and make a quick dodge around one defender. I found myself wide open in front of the net, and my bounce shot caught the crossbar in ended up in the net. Go me.

My conditioning is much better than where it was in week 1, but there’s always room for improvement, especially since a lot of the guys playing in the midfield have a limited interest in getting back to play defense. As always, there’s plenty of room for improvement on stick skills, as well.
