Though Detroit’s dreams of a regular-season conference championship fell just short, they still have a chance to win the MAAC Playoff, and earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. This weekend, Canisius College in Buffalo, NY will host the top teams in the MAAC, all with their eyes on a trip to a top seed’s home field and the start of a Cinderella story. The four-team field looks like this:

The 1/4 game will take place on Friday at 4:30pm, with the 2/3 game to follow at 8pm. In the regular season matchups, Siena won 13-12 on the road against Jacksonville, whereas Detroit fell 13-14 at Marist just a couple days ago. The winners will face off on Sunday at noon.
