Two More 2012 Commits for Michigan

Hello posts pending – Graham Conlan’s should be up tomorrow – but according to Inside Lacrosse, Michigan has picked up another pair of 2012 commitments:

Chris Walker, LSM/D, Brother Rice (Mich.) has committed to Michigan. A versatile 6-foot, 180-pound lefty, Walker earned US All-American and 1st Team All-Midwest honors. We also named him Defensive Man of the Session at Blue Chip Rising Seniors. Walker also considered Brown, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Ohio State, Bucknell and Delaware.

Brendan Gaughan, A, La Costa Canyon (Calif.) has committed to Michigan. Gaughan is a big-time athlete that excelled at Under Armour with the West squad and is an excellent football for the Mavericks, who send an O-lineman to UM in his class as well. At 6-4, 195 pounds, he should be a huge contributor for the Wolverines. He also considered Navy, Penn State and Drexel.

Interesting to see IL tossing a shoutout the way of Erik Magnuson. These guys have slightly more impressive interest lists than Michigan’s first pair of commits, so it’s nice to see a healthy class being built.
