About

Great Lax State’s mission is to increase awareness and coverage of lacrosse in the state of Michigan. Though the traditional hotbeds of the game are on the East Coast, there’s a lot of good ball being played at almost every level of the game. From one of the traditional high school powers in Brother Rice, to one of the newest NCAA programs in Detroit-Mercy, and one of the greatest club dynasties of all time in the University of Michigan, there’s plenty of talent to go around, and those voices deserve to be heard.

If you have something you can contribute, be it coverage of your favorite school, pictures, or news tips, you can e-mail them to me at t.w.sullivan1@gmail.com.

I have a great player who is entering High school this year and the parents are looking to get him out in the Lax world for people see him. I don’t want to lead them down a road that might not pay out.

My question is; how do they do it, so I need some advise to pass on to my middle school parents going into high school.

Get in touch with Ed Chima at All American Lacrosse. The 1763 Lacrosse Club is a terrific opportunity for talented kids to get exposure at top recruiting events, and their coaching staff is superb.

Contact Ken Brubaker at 313 Lacrosse. His program was founded in 2005 and offers Summer (GP Select) and Fall (313 Lacrosse Club) Travel Teams. The program offers top notch instructors, collegiate exposure and and low cost dues.

Trying to get my grandson who attends U of D Jesuit into a year round club that will challenge him. Is this a good program for that or can you recommend another. Thanks in advance
