Free Team Day at Detroit-Mercy Saturday

I don’t want to get into the habit of posting press releases, but if you’re a parent or coach of a youth player, this is important (if you’re a youth player yourself, make sure your parents know you’re on the internet without their permission; I don’t want them to blame me):

All high school & youth lacrosse teams who pre-register will receive complimentary admission for this Saturday’s home Titan doubleheader!  Players and coaches on all teams are eligible to be admitted free of charge.  We hope you will join us!

Titan Women v. Howard at  12:00 PM

Titan Men v. Canisius at  3:00 PM

Titan Field, Detroit (UDM McNichols Campus)

Players and coaches may attend even if the whole team cannot – coaches must simply fill out the attached registration form with the names of those who will be attending, and submit that to greg.haapala@udmercy.edu, or (313) 993-2449 (fax).  Complimentary Admission is good for both games. Registration must be submitted by Friday (4/15/11) at 12:00 Noon.

In addition to great lacrosse, all fans will have the chance to play free shooting contests, enjoy tailgate games, receive plenty of free product samples from Powerade, and other exciting entertainment!

The Titan men are in first place in the MAAC, and are looking to close the regular season strong.  On the women’s side, the Titans look for their second straight NLC victory.  Come see NCAA Division I Lacrosse up close!

Great to see the Titans reaching out to the community, and for all youth laxers in the area, this is your last chance this season to see D-1 lacrosse in the state of Michigan.
