Our annual look at Michigan natives who are playing college lacrosse at division-1 institutions this spring:

Air Force 4, Ohio State 14

  • Sophomore attack Tommy McKee (Holt) – Started, scored one goal on six shots, and picked up three ground balls. Also committed two turnovers.

Bellarmine 9, Detroit 8

  • Senior midfielder Andrew Bulgarelli (Troy Athens) – Started and won seven of 19 faceoffs, picking up one ground ball.

Detroit 8, Bellarmine 9

  • Freshman attack Brandon Beauregard (Notre Dame Prep) – Recorded one assist and took two shots (one on goal).
  • Senior midfielder John Bemben (Hartland) – Caused three turnovers. Also committed one turnover.
  • Freshman midfielder Mike Birney (Detroit Catholic Central) – Started, took one shots, caused one turnover, and picked up one ground ball. Also committed two turnovers.
  • Junior midfielder Tyler Corcoran (South Lyon) – Won eight of 11 faceoffs, picking up three ground balls, and took one shot.
  • Junior midfielder Brandon Davenport (Grosse Pointe North) – Won five of nine faceoffs, picking up three ground balls, and took one shot.
  • Sophomore attack Scott Drummond (Birmingham Seaholm) – Recorded one assist and scored a goal on his only shot. Also committed two turnovers.
  • Junior defenseman John Dwyer (Detroit Catholic Central) – Played, but did not accrue any statistics.
  • Sophomore midfielder Nick Garippa (Notre Dame Prep) – Caused one turnover and picked up one ground ball. Also committed two turnovers.
  • Senior attack Scott Harris (Saline) – Started and took three shots (two on goal). Also committed one turnover.
  • Junior defenseman Jamie Hebden (Brother Rice) – Started, caused two turnovers, and picked up one ground ball. Also committed three penalties for 2:30.
  • Senior midfielder Brad Janer (Detroit Catholic Central) – Picked up one ground ball.
  • Sophomore LSM Andrew Khalil (Warren De La Salle) – Played but did not accrue any statistics.
  • Senior Midfielder Tim Lehto (North Farmington) – Took one shot.
  • Sophomore midfielder Joe MacLean (Detroit Country Day) – Picked up one ground ball.
  • Junior midfielder Chris Nemes (Detroit Catholic Central) – Started, caused one turnover, and picked up one ground ball. Also committed one turnover and one penalty for 0:30.
  • Senior defensman Adam Nolan (Ann Arbor Pioneer) – Started and picked up two ground balls.
  • Senior midfielder John Nowicki (Warren De La Salle) – Scored a goal on his only shot and added an assist. Also committed one turnover.

  • Freshman attack Will Meter (Brother Rice) – Started and recorded one assist.
  • Freshman midfielder Thomas Orr (Detroit Catholic Central) – Picked up one ground ball. Also committed one turnover.
  • Sophomore defenseman Dakota Sherman (Cranbrook) – Caused one turnover and picked up one ground ball. Also committed one turnover.
  • Senior defenseman Austin Swaney (East Grand Rapids) – Scored a goal on his only shot and picked up three ground balls.
  • Senior midfielder Alex Vasileff (Birmingham Seaholm) – Started, took two shots (one on goal), and picked up one ground ball.

Mount St. Mary’s 9, Sacred Heart 8

  • Junior midfielder Conor Carey (University of Detroit Jesuit) – Took three shots.
  • Junior midfielder Jon Marsalese (University of Detroit Jesuit) – Won six of 17 faceoffs.
  • Senior defenseman Brendan Rooney (University of Detroit Jesuit) – Started, caused two turnovers, and picked up two ground balls. Also committed one turnover.

Ohio State 14, Air Force 4

  • Sophomore midfielder Nick Diegel (Northville) – Played, but only made the scoresheet by committing one turnover.

Penn State 13, Delaware 9

  • Junior midfielder Danny Henneghan (Brother Rice) – Started and won 14 of 26 faceoffs, picking up six ground balls, and took one shot.

Sacred Heart 8, Mount St. Mary’s 9

  • Sophomore midfielder Tom Sardelli (Notre Dame Prep) – Took three shots (one on goal). Also committed one turnover.

Stony Brook 10, Hartford 11 (OT)

  • Senior attack Graham Adams (Brother Rice) – Played, but did not accrue any statistics.
